The book also includes poems rooted in the specific soils of Ayrshire and Orkney, where old country characters, primary schoolchildren, and exasperated bus drivers make their voices heard. About the Author:
GERRY CAMBRIDGE is a well-known poet and essayist, living near Glasgow. His background ranges from photography and typography to natural history. Alongside his many publications, Gerry has been the publisher and editor of the transatlantic journal The Dark Horse since 1995. He has also had his poetry featured in The Poetry Review and been chosen as a judge for The National Poetry Festival.
