Pauline Cairns Speitel

PAULINE CAIRNS SPEITEL began her career in Scots dictionaries with the Scottish National Dictionary and continued her work in 2002 with the formation of Scottish Language Dictionaries (SLD).

Throughout her career, Pauline has contributed to numerous significant projects with SLD, including the 2005 Supplement to the Scottish National Dictionary.

She was also a major contributor to the latest publication of the second edition of the Concise Scots Dictionary, playing a vital role in preserving and promoting the Scots language through her extensive work.
