Lesley G Dunbar
LESLEY DUNBAR has made significant contributions to the advancement of women's rights and local governance in Aberdeen. As a founding member of the Aberdeen Women’s Alliance women's history group, she played a key role in promoting the recognition and preservation of women's history in the city. Her work with the group helped to highlight the contributions of women to Aberdeen’s cultural, social, and political life, ensuring that their stories are remembered and celebrated.
In addition to her work with the Aberdeen Women's Alliance, Lesley Dunbar served as a dedicated Councillor for the Woodside, Hilton and Stockethill Ward in Aberdeen City Council, starting in 2012.
Lesley's contributions both as a community activist and public servant have left a lasting impact on Aberdeen, especially in the areas of women's history and civic engagement.
