Kenny MacAskill

KENNY MACASKILL has been serving as a Lothians MSP since 1999. As the SNP Shadow Justice Minister, he holds a position in the Shadow Cabinet and is a long-standing member of the SNP's National Executive Committee (NEC).

Educated at Linlithgow Academy and Edinburgh University, MacAskill later became a senior partner in a law firm, showcasing his extensive legal background. He is married and has two sons. His longstanding political and professional experience makes him a key figure in Scottish politics.
