Jo MacDonald

JO MACDONALD is a native Gaelic speaker from the island of Lewis. She was educated at the Nicolson Institute in Stornoway and at Glasgow University. During a career largely spent with the BBC she worked mainly in factual and education programming. Now based in Skye, Jo works as a freelance researcher, broadcaster, writer and translator. She is a Board Member of Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, the National Gaelic College, and a trustee of The Sorley Maclean Trust.
