Hugh McMillan
HUGH McMILLAN is a poet and writer hailing from south-west Scotland, whose work has been widely published and anthologised.
He has earned numerous accolades throughout his career, including winning prestigious competitions such as the Smith/Doorstep Pamphlet Prize, the Callum MacDonald Memorial Award and the Cardiff International Poetry Competition.
His talents have also led to shortlistings for significant honours like the Michael Marks Prize, the Basil Bunting Poetry Award and the Bridport Prize. McMillan's poetry is celebrated for its depth, wit and engagement with Scottish culture and history.
