Elspeth King
ELSPETH KING is the Director of the Stirling Smith Art Gallery and Museum, which has a large collection of Wallace memorabilia. She introduced and edited the Luath Press edition of Blind Harry’s Wallace, published in 1998. In 1997 the Smith hosted the exhibition Scotland’s Liberator – The Life and Legacy of William Wallace to mark the 700th anniversary of the Battle of Stirling Bridge; in 2005 the Smith hosts The Face of William Wallace exhibition to commemorate the 700th anniversary of his execution.
