Dominic Hinde
DOMINIC HINDE is a journalist, academic and literary translator from Edinburgh, Scotland. He holds a PhD from The University of Edinburgh on the environment and contemporary Swedish society and works as a foreign correspondent covering the Nordic countries and North Atlantic.
He speaks fluent Swedish, and has appeared as a commentator on Nordic issues on television and radio. In 2012 he was awarded the SWEA award for research into Swedish culture and society. He writes and speaks particularly about politics and popular culture. He has lived and worked in England, Scotland, Berlin, Stockholm and Denmark. He currently lives in Leith, Edinburgh.
