Dick Fiddy
DICK FIDDY is a respected consultant with the British Film Institute (BFI), where he plays a significant role in preserving and curating British television history. He is also an accomplished writer, researcher and television historian with a deep passion for British broadcasting. Over the years, Fiddy has contributed extensively to various notable publications, including the Radio Times, and his work has been featured by prominent publishers such as Bloomsbury.
In addition to his consultancy work, Fiddy is widely recognised for his involvement in several acclaimed television and media projects. He is known for his contributions to Not the Nine O’Clock News, a groundbreaking British sketch comedy series that aired in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Fiddy has also worked on The Ballad of Johnny Vanguard, as well as Dad’s Army & Beyond, which reflects his expertise in classic British television.
