ALEX WOOD, a former Head Teacher with nearly 40 years in education, now teaches adult classes in Edinburgh and at Strathclyde University.

An active genealogist for over 30 years, he offers genealogy courses at Wester Hailes.

Residing in Linlithgow, Alex enjoys running, serves as his local athletic club's secretary, and supports Brechin City FC.
