Alastair McIntosh

ALASTAIR McINTOSH was raised on the Isle of Lewis, a remote and rugged island in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. He now lives with his wife in Greater Govan, a historic Hebridean quarter of Glasgow that was once renowned for its shipbuilding industry. In Govan, McIntosh works actively for cultural renewal through his involvement with the GalGael Trust, an organization dedicated to fostering community and heritage. He also holds an honorary position as Scotland's first professor of Human Ecology at the University of Strathclyde, contributing to academic and environmental thought.
