About the Book:
Following the end of the Cold War and the collapse of the Soviet Union the world was left unbalanced – the ultra capitalist USA, the world’s only superpower. Some see a strengthened European Union of countries sharing common ideals of social democratic capitalism. A strengthened Europe born of its experience of democracy, republic, monarchy, communism, anarchy, dictatorship and fascism.
Europe is growing, soon to cover land from Lappland to Limassol, from Tralee to Talinn. How must Europe and its myriad of bureaucracies and institutions change and adapt to a 21st century world?
