About the Author:

MARK THOMSON writes and performs his street poetry at poetry slams and festivals including Big Word with other like-minded poets, bringing music and poetry together. He began writing after completing a Hilltown Horizons literary course, where he met other Dundonian poets Gary Robertson and Kevin McCabe. He now leads creative writing courses himself and runs national literacy organisation workshops. His students have included children from the Barnardo's organisation.
