Wind Power Does Not Reduce Emissions
Todd says:
The carbon intensity of generation in Scotland – i.e the amount of CO2 produced by creating electricity in the country – has dropped dramatically since the beginning of the commercial wind era, from more than 300g per kilowatt-hour to around 50g. During that period, the energy mix features less traditional generation but more renewables. Hard to justify any other conclusion: wind power cuts emissions.
