Reflections on the Year

Looking back, 2025 has been a year of ambition and discovery. From debut authors to established voices, our books explored contemporary life, historic events, folklore and the natural world. The variety of lengths, from concise works under 100 pages to deep, immersive reads over 450 pages, meant there was something for everyone, whether you were in search of a quick read or a long, thoughtful journey.

We also saw our books connecting with readers in different ways. Whether curled up by the fire with a paperback, exploring a hardback on a train journey or discovering Scottish culture through Gaelic and Scots-language works, our titles found their place in homes, libraries and hearts across the world.

Thank You

None of this would be possible without our incredible authors, readers, collaborators and supporters. Every page published, every story shared and every new reader reached contributes to the rich tapestry of Scottish literature and culture.

As we look forward to 2026, we are excited to continue publishing books that challenge, inspire and entertain. Here’s to another year of stories that stay with us long after the final page is turned.
